CHRISTMAS

Hello to you if you are reading my blog, and of coarse thanks for taking the time. As you all know i am very new to all this, i mean last year all i could do is turn the pc on.

Maddy gets a good laugh [ at my expense ] sometimes because of the way i try to do something, and yes it goes completely wrong but you never know one day it might go right hehe [ watch this space ].Santa has brought me a new camera for me to use with my crafting, AHAH something else for me to learn how to use. Maddy help!!. Must go now and sort our dinner out.

CARDS FOR GRANDCHILDREN

I made these two cards for two of our grandchildren Lola and Elle. the carolsinger has been done as a decoupage. Hope you like them.

IRIS TAG

Iris folding holds an air of mystery to me you never know what your designs look like till you have finished and turned it over.

I love doing it and i thought i would share this tag with you . Hope you like it.

SOMEONE SPECIAL

I am going to share this with you all, Hubby and i were trying to have a baby for fifteen years, after test, after test they told me a was infertile and could not have children we were devastated.

At that time i could not look at baby's without getting very upset.

Last year my niece became pregnant and because she new what i had been through she asked me to be her birthing partner well i burst into tears then she did and we hugged each other which seemed for ever. It was an experience that i will never ever forget. Charlotte gave birth to a beautiful son who is called Bradley, it goes without saying he is one spoilt little boy.

I wanted to share this with you all because i wanted to show you this card i have made for him.

DEEP IN THOUGHT

I made this card today, isn't she a cutie so deep in thought. I coloured her with my whisper pens and i used my embossing folder for the background.

TILDA'S

I am soooo excited my Tilda stamps arrived the other day [ i luv these stamps ]. um which one shall i do first, so many to choose from.

I chose this one i am learning how to use whisper pens so i used them on her, not quite there with them yet but not bad [ i think ]

PARTY

Last night was sticky-fixers xmas night out, meal wasent up to much but the the tribute band was good Ithink everone had a good time.

HELLO

Today i went to collage to learn how to do quilting MIND BLOWING at first but yep i enjoyed my self [ i think ], all i can say is watch this space.

COPICS

Yesterday was craft-club day, We have just bought some copics for the group. I looked at them and thought to myself what was all the fuss about they look just like felt pens to me,AH DON'T SHOUT MADDY, Once i started to have a go with them the colouring is wonderful so much nicer than whisper pens. At the end of the class you can definitely tell them apart i love them. Hear is the lion that we had to colour in.

DECOUPAGE

This is a decoupage picture of a toy shop window. I must admit even though i will have a go at ever kind of crafting decoupage is my favorite. It took me four days to do this picture and then i varnished it.

WOW

Wow what a big surprise, felling a bit delicate today until i turned on my PC and saw Calv's post hear on my blog.I am so pleased that you think that i deserved this award Calv once again a big thank you.

WHAT A LAUGH

I just had to share this with you all, i take a lot of medication 17 tablets a day so when it is night time i become very drowsy. back to my story i saw this card in my mag and i wanted to make it thought she looked soo cute.After i thought i had done a great job and went to bed . When i woke up the next day what a mess she looked , me and hubby laughed for nearly an hour and said i must take her to my craft-club and she was a hit everyone laughed.

WHISPER PENS

Maddy has been trying to teach me how to use whisper pens [ Patience of a saint ] well this Santa has been coloured in using my whispers its not perfect but you can see the shading , so i think at long last Maddy i might be getting the hang of this.

FAIRY CARD

I have made this card for my friend at our craft- club she has been a little sad so i thought it would make her smile a little.

MR SNOWMAN

This card is what we had to do at our craft group [ sticky-fixers ] last week. It was a lesson that Maddy was taking. I coloured him in with my water colour pencils.

LOVE THESE

Dont you just love these cuties, i coloured these in using my water coloure pencils and i put a little bit of sticklers on the snow to make it look frosty. You cannot tell by the picture but i have made them stand out

ONLY DID SIX

Well what can i say,i only managed to do six of the cbc challenge poor effort i know but it was my first attempt and i really enjoyed doing it and yes i will be having another go at further challenges to come [ must learn how to post pictures ] for my self. thank you ever one who helped me.

We had to make a notebook with some sort of closure i used ribbon and i did a pen holder at the side.

Hear is my next challenge, firstly i traced it in tinta black ink, then i coloured it in with perga pens ,then i embossed from the back.

I was lookng round cbc and saw the challenge i have seen them many times but thought that i was never clever enough to join in. I know that im late but i am going to have a go hear is no 1 the keyring i decided to do a parchment hope you like it

SCRAPBOOK PAGE

Today i have been to my craft club [sticky-fixers ]Maddy our wonderfull teacher has been teaching us differant ways to distress and ink our pages.I chose this picture it is of our blessing which i arranged for my husband who was 60 last christmas we had a great day.Firstly we had to scrape our edges of the paper then we inked them and then we ripped them i must admit it does look very effective hope you like it.

I found this lady in one of my books i think she looks so elegant. I did the border in gold gel pen and the rest was done in white ink.

Have another go

What can i do today, mmm housework or crafting, yep the crafting one. I thaught i would have another go at parchment even though i think i am getting the hang of it the one thing i cannot do [YET ] is the cutting with scissors. I have tried and tried but i cannot get the hang of it so please feel free to give me any pointers.

WHAT CAN I SAY

I tried to be a smarty pants and put my picture of that lady in a post, and yes i totally messed it up, dont ask me how or why but i posted my pic of my parchment instead [CONFUSED] so was i .Must say a very big thankyou to melissa for helping me.

Lady

This is a stamp that Anita has let me borrow i think she is so elegant. I coloured her with my whisper pens and i even put her some eyelashes on.

Another tag

I bought this tag when i went to a craft fair with Maddy and Rachel i had a fab day out. We spent lots of pennies of coarse. I coloured my stamp in with twinkiling h2os, and chalked the background.

Craft Club

Went to Sticky Fixers Craft club today & made a tag. Learnt how to mask & use different inks. Had a good time as usual.

Off to gorilla Crafts in Halifax this evening for another fun crafting time :-)

WHAT TO DO TODAY.......

well what can i do today, got rid of the boring stuff, ironing, dusting you know things like that he he. I think i will have another go at parchment i am getting to enjoy doing it, i have a long way to go yet before it is perfect but hay i did it yes me

PARCHMENT

I have always been one for a challenge so i thaught i would have a go at parchment, loads of people told me it was easy.

Several screwed up pieces of parhment paper later i started to get the hang of it, and yes i am hooked ( i love it ). mind you it has up to press cost me a fortune.

FINALLY

Today i have made a link between my blog and my post i think it is starting to sink in?.( Calv helped me). How come when i am at our craft club i never shut up, computer in front of me and my mind has gone blank.
